HI GUYS. I am Carbon and I really love awful, horrible characters, which is why I have been playing AM from Harlan Ellison's 2edgy short story I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream... for several years now. whoops.

Anyway, AM is obviously not a supercomputer here, he's just a regular 'ole scary dude who murdered and tortured a bunch of people. Info here.

Rook is a polite, normal young man... who absolutely snapped when a cult that took root in his county kidnapped his friends and started torching and looting everything in reach. He's been drugged repeatedly, brainwashed, and manipulated, killed a lot of people, hallucinated a nuclear apocalypse, was starting to be convinced it was his fault... and finally was deemed too dangerous for society and dumped in jail. So! he's extremely vulnerable right now, with a lot of questions about his own nature and that of humanity in general.

Hey everyone! My name is Cass and I'm the mod and creator of this game, bringing in Billy Hargrove from Stranger Things and Randall Flagg from The Stand.

Flagg is a charming, sadistic cult leader who has committed pretty much all the crime and has literal worshipers who think he's god-like. He's been at Obsidian for a long time and thus has quite a bit of influence, especially in C Block.

Billy is brand new, got a little bit possessed and committed a bunch of murder, and is now stuck dealing with both the trauma of that and the trauma of prison all while trying to keep his tough guy facade going because he's scares he's going to get the crap beaten out of him by tougher inmates. In other words, he's very easy to manipulate!

You can read about her AU here, but in a nutshell it's mostly similar to canon, but she was convicted of her father's crimes and is very unsure of how much she was a victim in them and how much a perpetrator. She's a brand new arrival, trying to figure out how to survive here, trying to protect the last bit of her innocence while also needing to accept that there is a real darkness in her.

Hello, I'm Hannah (Other Hannah in the discord, I know we have two Hannahs). I'mm only playing Sebastian Moran from a book called The Hound of he D'Urbervilles right now. And yes, Moran is a minor Sherlock Holmes villain but the Conan Doyle estate has no rights to him anymore so he belongs to the public domain now. It's not a book a lot of people have read EVEN THOUGH I'VE BEEN BEGGING FOR YEARS IT'S REALLY FUNNY I PROMISE but I'll write up an info post soon. Basically, he helps carry out Moriarty's crimes but also does poaching on the side. His biggest AU point is that he's not a Victorian gentleman here.

I'm Vorpal, over at vorpal on plurk! I'm really bad at talking about myself, and I tend not to do that a whole lot. I'm obviously a fan of Final Fantasy, with IV, VI, VII and X being among my favorites, and Kain being a longtime favorite character of mine. Other canons I like/play from (only in museboxes/memes) include GoT, X-Files, Red Dead Redemption 2, Skyrim, Dragon Age... I love RPing horror and really horrible things especially!

Kain's canon is largely intact in the AU... so he was brainwashed and turned against his regular allies and friends, and did some awful stuff as a result. He's deep own a good person but is still always having internal struggles against his inner darkness.

As for who I'm bringing! His name is Felix, he's a space mercenary from Red vs. Blue, and in his canon he's attempted to destroy an entire planets worth of people just for a good paycheck. For his AU, he's been grounded to just earth but he stayed on a pretty similar path. He's starting out pretending to be Kind Of A Nice Guy but I look forward to seeing how that facade can get peeled back.

Hello there! I'm Dem and you can find me over at jigglyballs and as you can tell from my display name I'm an extremely serious RPer. I mostly keep my plurk RP-related only though sometimes I'll nerd out about a new show/game/book I'm consuming, shitpost about my characters or just yell into the void about how cute my cat is.

I'm at GMT+2 and I work full-time so chances are I won't be around on the same hours as the majority of you but generally I try to return all tags at least once every two days.

Squalo in canon is a hitman for the shonen mafia's less shonen actual murder squad. We don't really know much about his backstory, however he is stupidly loyal to his boss, and always ready to fight -- the latest part is pretty much intact, as for the AU I tweaked his history but his personality should be largely the same (aside from the boss codependency thing since it doesn't translate too well into this).

He'll be in Block B and will be balancing between keeping his nose out of other people's business and making sure everyone knows not to fuck with him, which will probably end up tricky, and I look forward to his plans not working out the way he wants them to. Or the opposite! Whichever happens. I'm generally open to anything with discussion.

There's also a permissions and opt-out post on his journal if anyone needs it for any reason.

I'm Trapinch, and I play Ardbert from a silly vidya game I'm hooked on forever called Final Fantasy XIV. He's a big teddy bear man who made a series of unfortunate decisions and met a number of unsavory people which turned him into an asshole, and in canon he was the most hated person in the world for a long time. In this AU, he's just a criminal in here for life, and a big grump to boot. Prison at least wont fuck him up more than he already has been? Maybe?

Ah well, given how mean I am to characters I play, pretty sure his peace wont last long.

After the events of the Birds of Prey film, Dinah ended up arrested for Roman's crimes. With him and Zsasz dead, she was next in the firing line, and here we are.
